Blackberry Tour

Who all was able to get the Blackberry Tour on release weekend?

I have a few friends that are very satisfied with their tours. I checked out one at cell south fri very nice phone good build felt nice in the hand. If htc were not releasing the hero, the tour would be my next phone.

 I think you and I are on the same page.  I know what Blackberry is capable of and I've heard of what ANDROID is capable of.  I am really looking forward to a new phone experience with this ANDROID platform.  Over the years, I've learned that Google is rarely behind anything that's not the best in its class.  You can't sell stock at $500+ a share by fitting in with the rest....

I LOVE my Tour. My only complaint is the Youtube capability. Most videos are in the flv. format and it still won't play those. Otherwise, it was definitely what I was waiting for.

I've heard about this issue.  Are there any fixes to this issue or is this just one of the disadvantages of the Blackberry Tour?

Vette 71 I do not if this applies to the tour or not but try this. Go to browser configuration and make sure everything is checked but allow java pop ups. Then make sure all the general properties are also checked. I am actually able to play YouTube in Full screen but only when in 3G areas.

I had good luck with Youtube on my Tour, I was able to pick up a Tour saturday. Would also like to say that the Tour is WAY ahead of a Curve for anybody who has a Curve.

Mopar, thanks for the post. All of the boxes were checked so maybe it's like mscooley said, only in 3G areas :(

don't feel bad at all. my home is right in the middle of two 3g towns, but i can't get 3g!  only when i'm at the office in Cleveland.

Cooley, did you leave the bbm group?  Haven't seen you lately.  When is the Tour getting blacked out?
