Yes, but not the company you're thinking of.  We're an ag research company and further from McD.

Hotty Toddy all,

31 yr male from . And yes I still use a Motorola krzr, cracked screen and all. I am waiting to upgrade to a device that I can tether to a laptop, dialup sucks. I don’t know weather to try the Hero or the Tour. Any advice?

Welcome Mr. Olemiss (I love it)!

Regarding tethering, "technically" the service isn't offered but instead they offer a data card.  From what I've heard the last few weeks, tethering the traditional way has been cut off or blocked.  I can't speak on the Hero as far as tethering goes, but it is a solid device I must admit....IF you must do touch screens.

I, like MsCooley, have heard that tethering has been disabled across Cellular South.  I doubt that it will be possible for the HTC Hero or the Tour.  With that being said, I suggest you upgrade to the HTC Hero!  Check out the thread about the phone.  Though it hadn't been released quite yet, it has a lot of things going for it! If instead, you want something thats you KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt will hold up, I would have to recommend the Tour.
