Hattiesburg area checking in... I'm in the IT field as well (Security to be exact). Was originally an ole Cellular One customer *years* ago.... Left them for CS right before Alltel bought them. Been with CS ever since. ;)
Currently a BB (ab)user and anxiously awaiting the Hero!
My name is Joey, i'm in Memphis. I'm 26 and the service manager for an office machine company. I am also the lead singer for 2 local bands. cough cough shameless promotion myspace.com/pressonememphis facebook.com/pressonemusic myspace.com/shavedband . i have been a cs customer for about a year now. my favorite part is getting to hear a mississippi accent when i call customer service, as opposed to an indian accent. im waiting on the hero!! i currently have a pearl unfortunately.

Undoubtedly the best intro thus far! Welcome aboard. There are quite a few of us awaiting the Hero. Check out the Hero forum. There's lots of interesting information in there! We've got a great community here and glad that you've become a part of it.
ive been refreshing it for a while now. ha ha. im really excited about it. i played with one for a while today at sprint and thought is was pretty cool. i just wish it would go ahead and come out.

My name is Cass, married and have a 7 year old little girl. I am in sales for a paper company in the Jackson area. I am also awaiting the Hero! Hopefully today is the day! I have a curve now that is almost about to tank, (charging port). I feel like a kid waitin on Santa's arrival.

Still on the fence about the Tour or the Hero though...
Been using my Pearl for awhile now and while I know it's definitely not the best way to be introduced to the blackberry craze, I have enjoyed it, but the little Droid that could might be more temptation than I can handle.

Welcome to the forum. I've heard lots of stories of people torn between the Tour and the Hero. I know a lot of people are making the switch. If you're up for change, I suggest the Hero! Check out the Hero thread; there's lots of good info over there.

The sky is the limit around here. I see this forum really growing due to the fact that Cellular South is very interested in free discussion of some of their questionable business practices! lol.
