Whats displaying on your curve? 1X or 1XEV?
I'm in H'burg as well.... My speed has been great. Have you tried a battery pull?
Its showing 1XEV with full bars of service and -75dbm. Sorry, should have put that in the OP. Speeds are alot better today. I also have a um150 aircard with verizon that was also slow yesterday. What ever was going on it looks like it was corrected.
BTW, I think this forum is awesome. I will be sure to tell all the CS people I know about it.
I have also learned that 1XEV on CS is not the same as Rev A EVDO. Its the old Rev O EVDO.

That depends on if your phone is the Rev 0 or Rev A... the net on my Tour is probably 75% faster than my 8830
