Tethering Crackdown
In reading the terms of agreement for the netbook, I stumbled upon this paragraph. I knew it wouldn't be long before they started cracking down on illegal/unauthorized tethering which is legitimate because the more unauthorized connections, the worse our data services are. Like I said, I found this under the netbook page, but I'm almost positive that this same agreement can be found on any of the data devices pages: https://www.cellularsouth.com/cscommerce/products/plans/product_plan_details.jsp?navAction=push&navCount=0&id=prod25870027
"UNLIMITED PLANS AND FEATURES (UNLESS NOTED AS SPECIFICALLY FOR USE WITH A LAPTOP OR OTHER COMPUTING DEVICE NOT SUPPLIED BY CELLULAR SOUTH) CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY APPLICATIONS THAT TETHER THE DEVICE (THROUGH USE OF, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONNECTION KITS, OTHER PHONE/PDA-TO-COMPUTER ACCESSORIES, BLUETOOTH® OR ANY OTHER WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY) TO LAPTOPS, PCS OR OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR ANY PURPOSE."
