Will this battery void the phone's warranty?

No. You are just replacing the battery, not rooting your device. You will be all good!

Anyone have any experience with this battery?

Did anyone ever get one of these batteries? If so please give a review.

I ended up buying the 1750mAh Extended battery and it is working great. So I would assume the 3500mAh would work that much and way more.  Just did not want to have to add the 5mm increase to the back of the phone.

I've been debating on ordering this 1800mAH (stock cover)..... and it's even a bit cheaper than the 1750:

i've been keeping an eye on mugen power, too. they're products are *supposed* to be good, but i've never tried them out.

Same here.... I've not heard how good their stuff actually is. I guess I could just take a shot in the dark and buy one.... if it ends up being crappy, I'm only out 35bux.

Currently though, my stock battery is holding up just fine for me... I simply charge it every night. It's rare for it to be any less than 50% at the end of the day.

i bit on a *$10 Shipped* battery on ebay the other day. 2000mAh. I know it's ridiculously cheap but if it doesn't last longer than the stocker i'll still have a spare to take on trips and such. grin

ok, got my battery in yesterday. it's an Andida from Hong Kong. I work with someone from malaysia and she said the packaging indicated that it's actually a decent product. Charged to 100%, HTC Battery App Reads:
Health: Good
Voltage: 4188mV
Tech: Li-Ion
Temp: 25.0c

Status: Full

Will let it break in a little bit and post back with results.

I've used extended batteries for the last ten years on my little razor...and love it..now on the Hero I see that they have the extended batteries plus the back case on ebay, really cheap....I'm going to order one and I know it will enhance the battery life on my Hero too....will stick extra one in purse for emergencies, like HURRICANES!!! lol

Bumping this because i've been looking into mugen and i would say "Stay Away".

Just take a look here: http://www.fuzemobility.com/whats-wrong-with-this-picture/

It's a "3000mAh" Mugen Battery that's been dismantled. What's inside? 2x 1200mAh batteries.... FAIL.
