Weather App sometimes shows numbers and not location for current?

And should be fixed with the 2.1 update by HTC. I had so many problems with it I paid for weather bug elite . It works great but it bothers me I needed to purchase something to replace a stock app simply because it would not update time temp or location.

I believe weather channel is free.

I also found out from HTC that the carrier has to ask HTC for updates and fixes to the phones software. Ie the fixes for the weather widgets and various other issues are addressed in 1.5 software, we are at 1.44, the one with the issues. CS never asked for the updates, until now, they have asked for the 2.1 update, which will address this issue and more.

i want 2.1 so bad!!!!!

I got mine to work by removing the widget and then re-addding it.  Only this time I chose one of the included cities instead of my current location.  Seems to work fine now.
