How well does the Motorola Q perform

My friend from work has told me his dad has a flawless Motorola Q that he would sell to me. It was used for a few months then he got a blackberry. He said he had it on the csouth network but I never heard of it. Is it a good smart phone? I believe he was selling it for 140. Am I getting a good deal for this phone. I'm kinda in the dark here.
