Dilemma, please help
Alright, so I signed a 2 year contract on my blackberry curve on October 24, 2009. I didn't know about the HTC Hero coming out, and didn't really discover it until it was too late to trade my blackberry in. I really want the Hero but I'm trying to find a way to get the phone without paying $7.50 a month (around $150) to buy out of my contract.
My dad's contract is expired, and he wants a blackberry. Is there anyway he could take over my contract (or something like that), give him my blackberry, and I get the hero?
Or could he just get the Hero, and we just switch numbers?
Any suggestions/scenarios would be incredibly helpful.
you could probably do some juggling and get the phone you want.
The contract is on the account itself and not the phone..... The only way I could see you doing this is to simply get your dad to buy a hero on his account (signing a new contract) and then simply have CS switch the phones to each respective account. They should not have an issue doing that at all. They may, however; charge you extra for the number switch (so you can retain your old number).
