Hero's screen acting up

My hero has started to freeze up. Or at least the touch screen doesn't respond at times. The first time it happened I did a factory reset and now about a week later it has done it again this time I pulled the battery. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on. I first thought it might be an app causing this but no new apps have been installed lately.
I do have task manager pro and after killing all apps the same thing with no change. Im hoping maybe 2.1 will fix this if in fact there is something going on with my software.
