thinking about leaving cellular south

Hi to all. I know that this is my first post and I dont mean to be rude with the topic, but lately I ve been thinking about leaving cellular south. I have been with them for 5 years and the service has been pretty good for the most, I joined the cell south community at the time because I thought there plans were the best with them being the only company at the time offering true unlimited everything nation wide service. But over the years as the competition from other cell phone companies grew and cell south made every one else compete with there plans and start offering the same thing pretty much I'm wondering if I should still stick around because cell south is really lacking in the tech dept. It takes them forever to get the latest phones and when they do its like they have to strip down the features, like the HTC hero can't even send pic text on there network. I'm a gadget geek so stuff like sprints tv and the fact the HTC evo can do video conversions, talking while browsing the net makes me want to switch to one of the bigger companies. At this moment cell south still offers the best plans but the competitions plans aren't that much more considering you can get a lot of other stuff and options, so what do you all think should I stick around and see what's cell south does or jump ship.

Well cokey, I have been with cs since the beginning, so that would be about 10/15 years, who's counting?  The main reason I am still with them is that it is the only game in town in my area of Mississippi...I live wayyyyyyyyyyy out and they keep adding more towers, and I keep getting better reception, even in other states it's the best reception...never get a dropped call, ...my sprint friends can't use their phones in walmart or in the country..they borrow mine..okay, the pissy part about cs is exactly what you said...they wait FOREVER to get a good phone and then they cut off whatever service or function they want to...I have had this argument with them for YEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.....but if you really want to get action, you go to their website and hunt for TAKE IT TO THE TOP...it's the only phone company I know of that has this.  You type in your complaints or wishes, and trust me on this...someone from the top will take care of it OR will call you pretty fast!!! I think they know me by my first name by now!  I don't bother with this or emailing them, I TAKE IT TO THE TOP...all of you, do that...their is a vice president sitting there waiting for your notice and he is alive and answers your request....put me in shock many times and he takes care of the problem...like NOW...so that is why I am still with cs...reception and take it to the top...good phones you have to wait, some services, like the pic sending you mentioned, is put on hold until they want to flip the switch...I've done my research, I have other phones from sprint too, and cs is the best for my area...Stone County!
