This ROM and all updates will be kept on xda for the lack of the ability to edit posts.
Thanks for your hard work on this Rom, do you know of a livewallpaper zip file I could flash with this rom?
Here you go...
Do you get data while roaming? I know I have been trying different roms to see if you can get online and emails while you are roaming. I haven't found one yet that allows you to.
I have a 4GB microsd card on my Hero, What size partition do you recommend for the a2sd? Also, when I am on the recovery screen, do I choose Partition SD or SD:ext2 to ext3??
Thanks for your help
Thank you MrDanger for this Rom. Everything is working great so far. I have a few force closes here and their with the live wallpaper, but other than that it is great!

1. Choose ext2
2. I used all default values and I was fine. (swap 32, the other number 512 I believe...)

LiveWallpapers will not be stable on the HTC Hero without the sacrifice of graphics and performances... that's why it's not included in the CS RUU and why I didn't include it at first. It is also a battery drainer. On another note it is also a great way to show off your phone!! lol

I recently traveled and got data while I was roaming but here is the thing... CSouth does not cover data that well in some places. The small towns and stuff that I passed through... I didnt have data but as soon as I hit the major citys or their surroundings... I was back in business.
Anyone by chance have the stock HTC ringtones or Notification sounds? Or know which folder they are stored in so that I can copy them from another Hero?
If you flash this ROM... they should be on your sd card already. I forgot them in the first upload I did... but it's implemented in the new ROM now. If you have the first ROM I uploaded... download the updated one and flash over your current one (that mean do not wipe anything)
But if you insist on getting them off another hero, they are located in system/media
This is wonderful news, I was hoping we would get a CSouth ROM.
ANY issues I should be concerned with? Been running Damage Control for a couple revisions now. I have no issues at all but my GF's phone doesn't want to roam data at all when we're out of town and I've been lazy to troubleshoot it so this would be good for me.
and surely it's rooted eh? :D
Lol, I promise it is rooted.
And I have no issues so far. Just like stock CS 2.1... except with a few tweaks
