My Hero isn't ringing today...

Occasionally, and today seems to be one of those, my phone doesn't ring and I get notification of a missed call / voicemail immediately. All settings that I'm aware of are OK and ringer volume setting is maximum. Signal strength is medium. Anyone else noticed this? Any way to fix it that you know of?
I've heard of this. Someone else may have a better way but You can try doing a factory reset. This returns your phone to the way it was when you first got it. You will want to back up apps and contacts to your SD before you do the reset. That's if you can with your hero. I used astro for my apps

Mine did that same thing this morning, Its happened a few times before.
I sure dont want to do a factory Reset. takes time getting everything back the way I like it.
Maybe have to if thats the only way.
