usb mount
I've lost the usb mount option on my hero. When I plug into my pc, it charges, but that's all. I've tried different cables...different ports....another pc...I borrowed a non rooted hero and tried it and it works. Anybody elese ran into this? Any solutions? I can connect to my pc with a wireless app I have. My hero is rooted with teamheroC right now. Any help appreciated.
still haven't figured this out. i rooted with universal androot . i'd like to try to go back to stock to see if that would fix the issue with usb mount. i have the file, ADR6250_2-1_MR_Cellularsouth2.zip, but i dont't know what to do to get it installed. no luck unrooting using androot. i ran z4root. it said that it "unrooted" me. trie flashing the zip, but still a no go. can anyone help me with this? thx.
Go to the Market and search for the app Auto Mount. It allows you to set the Hero for what you want to happen when you plug in to a PC with the USB cable. Works great fro me, hope it does for you too.
